Evaluations and Signing Day: Sunday, June 9, 2024, Time: 1-2 pm (ages 5-8), 2-4 pm (ages 9+). Cost: $75

When you arrive at the studio, be dressed in proper dance attire: Dress iin All black (leotard, shorts/top, or combination). Bring ballet shoes, paws, or jazz shoes (some sort of turning shoe). This will be a closed evaluation; no one can sit in and watch (this is so the students are not distracted). Dancers must be properly dressed with hair pulled back. After placements into numbers, dancers will get to do a signing letter they can take home and showcase their excitement for the season to come! This will be a fun time! Cost: $75. 

2023 National Champions! & Grand National ShootOut Champions Runner Up! Mosaic Dance Center competed at StageOne National Dance Championship in Branson, Missouri in June against teams from across the United States and took out of 1500 numbers a National Championship! In addition, we recompeted for Grand National across all ages, levels, line-numbers and large groups to quinche a GRAND NATIONAL RUNNER-UP!  Way to go MDC! Congratulations!

MDC Optional Extra Training for Skaters, Gymnast and Dancers. Are you looking for more training than your studio or club provides? Would you like to study with award winning choreographers and coaches? MDC offers classes to performancing  artist from all over West Michigan and North Indiana. Dancers do not have to been a member of our awarding winning company to take classes at MDC. Contact us for recommendations for non-company extra training and privates. 

Company Program for 2024-2025:  Pick you level of committment. 

Elite Company is designed with serious dance students in mind and we consider every dancer an athlete. Our program is a balanced study between recreational (performance opportunities) and competitive. It also has collegiate programs in mind for future study in dance. MDC believes in balance of fun, family, school and being a kid, which we don't ask more than 3 nights in the studio a week for team classes. 

Showstopper Company: If you don't have a lot of time then our Showstopper company is designed for the dancer that wants to compete without a heavy committment. 

No weekly weekends! We value your family time. 

Only 5 extra weekend rehearsals all season and the schedule is given the first of August!

Team bonding events, outings and much more!

Committment: 

Competition Elite General Information (ages 9+)

Unlimited classes 

5-7 regional competitions

1 national competition (every 3 years) or study trip in New York, Florida, or Canada

1 convention (optional) or as many as you would like to attend

5 hours of core training including Ballet, Musical Theater/Jazz Technique, Acro, Hip Hop, Tap, Strength and Conditioning plus team classes. 

Average dancer's schedule consists of 3 days per week, Monday/Wednesday/ Friday depending on dancer and how many numbers.

Elite Summer Information (ages 9+)

Competition Team summer classes are on Tuesday nights for 5 weeks starting on July 11. (4 pm-8:30 pm). Choreographer from New York is here July 8-13, 2024. Must be available for Elite team during this time. 

Showstoppers  (ages 8+)

3-4 regionals

3 hours of training per week in jazz/musical theater/ballet/acro. This is for the low commitment dancer. Summer classes are Monday nights July 10-August 5. Time: 6:30-8:30 pm

Diamond Doll & Broadway Babies Program (ages 4-8). 

4-5 regionals. Meets 2-3 nights per week depending on age and dancers take ballet, acro, tap, and team class. This group trains on Monday (ages 6-8) or Wednesday nights (ages 4-6) in the summer for July 10-August 7.
